Agree entirely that I'm not pushing the kart hard enough in most places... my fastest runs tend to be those where I'm constantly yelling "dont lift dont lift dont lift" into my helmet--though usually this is followed by overdriving an element when I fail to look further ahead to account for the greater speed. Need more seat time to compensate for the smaller euphemisms. What a ride, though... even if the numbers worked against it (i.e.- more/equally expensive than cars and/or not much faster than cars), karts are a no-brainer.
Scott, if you get a helmet mount for a GoPro camera, we can swap between runs--that's what I've been doing with Danny and Justin. Not as nice as having all your runs on video, but there's always something to learn and pick up on. Alternatively, if you have a good spot on your kart, I have a flat-surface mount you can have next time.
