2010 Winter Series Event 2 - CBP - 2/21/10 CANCELED

Postby DaveH » Mon Feb 15, 2010 4:05 pm

We are NOT having this event!

I had some discussions with our site owner and our Board of Directors and based on our site owner's recommendation to reschedule, we have elected to do that.

Also, if you did register through MSR, you should have email from JR regarding your refund/credit. if you didn't receive this through MSR, please contact him.

Hey gang. I had to suspend registration for the time being as we are reviewing the condition of the lot to make sure it will be acceptable for use this weekend.

I went by the lot on sunday and it is not even plowed. The lots that are plowed have so much snow piled up the course workers could not work. It did not look good.

Well, the snow stopped the Mini. The little car port that we kept it in collapsed on it.It now has roof damage... Not fun. :(
So if we come, Chase would like to co-drive something. Any offers?

Thanks, Laurie

I just want to make plans for Sunday if we are not going to be down at CBP. My days off have been at a premium lately.
 I would much rather be playing with the MR2 though

Red x's. Why don't you just tell us what the lot is like...and which lots are we on, anyway? Andre will be setting course assuming there is an event.

Ok last try, should be finally working. I don't think we'll be having the event this weekend.... Our paddock lot hasn't been touched (the lower S lot is off limits to us, which is the one that is plowed in the last picture). Lots T and U are about 75% clear but, the large snow piles present somewhat of a challenge plus getting multiple cars on course with what is there to work with will be very, very hard if not just plain undoable. JR has ultimate call on this though so I guess we'll have to wait for him to chime in....

Don't want to clutter thread/add load time, but here you go, rehosted @ photobucket. Pics 2 and 3 are the lots we're running on, I believe.

Will it be possible to run karts, or are we blazing a path through the snow? Couldn't quite tell which lots we'll be using in the pics.

I would certainly like to know if rwd is an option. I've spent the last two days putting my project back together for this race (one of few GA Tour practices in the northeast). I would be bummed if I rushed for nothing.
