Where We Recognize Outstanding Contributions to the Club and Execellence in Competition
Each year, Philadelphia Region SCCA celebrates the outstanding achievements of its members in both competition and service.

Road Racing Driver of the Year and Autocross Driver of the Year honor top performances at the regional, divisional, and national levels.
Members who go above and beyond in supporting the club and community are recognized with awards such as Autocross Worker of the Year, Road Racing Worker of the Year, the Adam Zimmerman Award, and the Mark Freed Award.
These awards highlight the dedication and passion that make our region thrive!

ADAM ZIMMERMAN AWARD

This annual award was developed to honor the memory of Adam Zimmerman, an SCCA Philly Region member who started his amateur racing career in the autocross program and eventually moved into road racing. Adam was an excellent example of the dedication and commitment it takes from our members to keep our programs alive, vibrant and growing. He was always actively involved in the club and was a shining example of the spirit and good-will we have come to cherish in our most dedicated volunteers. The criteria for selecting the annual winner is: the member who best exhibited the dedication, commitment, spirit and good-will of Adam during past year.

MARK FREED AWARD
This This trophy is awarded when appropriate by the Board of Directors of Philadelphia Region SCCA to a Region member who has made an outstanding contribution to the club while displaying a positive attitude of sportsmanship and service as exemplified by Mark Freed. This is an award of significance in our region. Named for a Philadelphia Region road racing competitor who died in a racing accident at Watkins Glen. Though only in his 20’s when he died, Mark was one of those people who made an impact by being friendly and outgoing. He represented the quality of character that was seen as the future of the Region.
